Ricardo Fernandez Ribbeck
Ricardo has more than 30 years of global and multifunctional experience working for the IBM Corporation, in which his last assignment was as Vice President of Enterprise Businesses for the Latin-American region. Previous to that, he was General Manager for IBM Peru and Bolivia, leading the organization through a consistent growth and transformation period. Ricardo also held executive positions in Venezuela, USA and Brazil, that include Sales Direction, Business Planning, Brand Management, Marketing and Distribution. Solid career evidencing communication skills, creativity and strong business strategy capabilities.
He is currently member of the Directive Committee in Centrum Graduate Business School, as well as head of its Information Technology Magister Program. He is also a board member of L+1, a nonprofit organization that agglutinates several leaders of the Peruvian business community working for a sustainable and inclusive economy in Peru.
Ricardo has been board member of business associations in Peru, such as IPAE and AMCHAM, where he represented Peru in the board of the Americas. He was also Chairman of United Way Peru, and member of other NGOs related to education like Enseña Peru and CREA+.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad de Lima, as well as an MBA by Centrum Graduate Business School in Perú and Tulane University in New Orleans, USA.
Ricardo is married with 2 children. Among his hobbies, he enjoys running, and loves to read, specially Spanish-American literature.
